7771 Yonge Street
A little sketchy from the outside.
Much nicer inside compared to the outside of the restaurant and it was pretty empty when we arrived around 12:30pm but started to fill up when we were about to leave around 1:30.
All of us opted to get the lunch special for only $7.50 and you get an appetizer and entree.
Both my mom and sister got the Thai Coconut Soup (An aromatic blend of coconut milk, lemon grass, galanga & fresh chilies with chicken). I had a spoonful...or two and it was delicious! A little creamy but not heavy and packed full of coconut-y goodness!
I got the Tom Yum Soup cause I can never pass up Tom Yum anything, absolutely love it. It was just the right amount of spice, super flavourful and lime-y.
My mom got the Cashew Nut Chicken (stir-fried with Thai basil, chilies, garlic, onion, sweet pepper, onions and pineapple). It was served with plain white rice and it was delicious. Also a bonus was that they use chicken breast because I absolutely despise chicken thighs unless it's fried chicken.
The Green Curry Chicken was hands down our favourite dish, made with sweet peppers, eggplant, onion, lemon grass, lime leaves, Thai basil bamboo shoots and chilies. It was hard not licking the rest of the curry off the bowl.
*Highly recommend this or any of their curries.
The Shrimp Fried Rice was good but nothing really special about it.
If you are ever in the area, definitely check out Phuket Paradise and get their curry!
P.S. My mom got some take out Red Curry Chicken and I devoured it. So good!
