Kekou Gelato House

13 Baldwin Street
Toronto, ON

This tiny gelato shop popped up not so long ago on Baldwin Street, Kekou serves up Asian inspired gelato flavours like: soybean, peanut sesame, Vietnamese coffee,  durian and chocolate wasabi. They believe in using real fruits and teas for their gelato bases, another bonus is that are 100% stabilizer and emulsifier free.

You could also get a cookie sandwich for $4.20.

I shared a small and got to choose two flavours, I opted to get Green Tea Pistachio and Black Sesame.

I loved the Green Tea Pistachio, super creamy, not too sweet and you can taste how natural and fresh the gelato is.

The staff is happy to give you samples of flavours and I took advantage of that and tried almost all the flavours considering I'm super indecisive. The shop is super cute and simple with a few bar seats and the staff is incredibly nice and knowledgable about the flavours.
